Regina IslandOur second print execution, Regina Island, broke in magazines in April.

We shot the ad on October 12th, 2010 at Regina Island on Lake Muskoka. Most cottagers had already closed up at Thanksgiving and this was the final outing for Wenonah II before being shut down in Gravenhurst for the winter. So, it was quiet.

Ross and Jean Purdy graciously agreed to welcome us to their magical little island and allow us access to the cottage which had already been battened down for the off-season. The great folks at Muskoka Steamships could not have been more helpful, and the captain dealt with the shoals around the island with consummate skill and good humour.

If you get the opportunity to visit Muskoka, the regular cruises from Gravenhurst are a great way to experience the lakes. Most of the routes go right past Regina Island, but you may find that they rarely stop for coffee.
