The Muskoka Roastery Coffee Company is always on the lookout for people who share our values, our passion for coffee and our love for Muskoka. Business Development and Accounting Intern

We are embarking on a program of business growth, including geographic expansion, and need to hire an individual who will assume, over time, primary responsibility for all aspects of our internal accounting, while also serving as a daily interface with our customers in our core region (by telephone and email). In addition, the individual will play a lead role in developing our factory showroom, including dealing with consumers who visit for tours or to buy product or merchandise. Our hope is that the successful candidate will transition to a permanent role with the company at the end of the one year Intern period.

Candidates must meet specific criteria to qualify for the position which is partially funded by FedNor’s Northern Ontario Development Program. Candidates must be unemployed or underemployed youth (under the age of 30), who have graduated with a degree or diploma from a post secondary institution within the last three years, are legally entitled to work in Canada, and have not been previously employed under a FedNor Youth Internship funding agreement , or other federal or provincial internship with pay for a period of six (6) months or more.

Brand Activation Specialists

We are on the lookout for 2 individuals who will work together as Brand Activation Specialists during the summer months. With training included, this role will cover 4 months from May-August. 

The positions involve conducting demonstrations and events at grocery stores, cafes and in the community to raise awareness of the brand, stimulate trial and build relationships, with customers and consumers. As the representative of the company, it is imperative that each individual is knowledgeable, energetic, positive and passionate.   

 All equipment and training will be provided in the lead up to the event calendar. A full and clean driving license is required. A vehicle is provided.
