This roast is subtle, with shimmering layers of taste. The Kenyan gives the coffee brightness and distinctive winey taste, with a sweet, zesty finish and a beautiful aroma.
Aurora borealis comes from the name of the Roman goddess of dawn and the Greek name for the north wind. This natural light display is typically visible between 60 and 72 degrees latitude. In Muskoka, which lies at 45°, the display illuminates the northern horizon as a greenish glow or sometimes a faint red.
We could try to summarize the physics that underpin the northern lights, but quite frankly we don’t really understand it. It’s all about photons and ionization and magnetic fields. Fascinating stuff. We know two things for sure: if you are fortunate enough to see a northern lights show, you won’t ever forget it, and it inspired a pretty fine cup of coffee!
