Regenerate Canada with WWF - CANADA

"The next decade is critical if we are going to reverse our path."

At Muskoka Roastery Coffee Co., we've always been passionate about sustaining what matters most—our planet and its incredible biodiversity. That's why we're proud to support WWF-Canada's efforts to Regenerate Canada with a donation through our 1% to Sustain initiative.

But we're not stopping there! From now until April 30th, we will be donating an additional $1 for every tag on our WWF-Canada Instagram post, up to a maximum of $5,000. The funds will directly support WWF-Canada's fight to recover species, restore habitats, and fight climate change.

WWF-Canada has ambitious but necessary goals for their Regenerate Canada program:

🌿 Restore one million hectares of complex ecosystems that provide essential wildlife habitat and sequester carbon.

🐾 Steward and protect 100 million hectares of ecosystems for wildlife and communities.

🌎 Reduce carbon emissions by 30 million tonnes by restoring carbon-rich habitats and protecting current carbon stores.

This donation has a natural connection to our Super Sustainable Coffee, which champions regenerative farming practices in Anserma, Colombia. By supporting these practices, we help restore soil health, increase biodiversity, and empower farming communities. But regeneration isn’t just about faraway farms—it’s about caring for the ecosystems right here in Canada. From boreal forests to wetlands and grasslands, these habitats are vital for species at risk, carbon sequestration, and the health of not only our country, but also our planet.

In celebration of Earth Month, we will also be giving away one bag of Super Sustainable roast to ten random commenters on our WWF-Canada Instagram post!
